IBT began in 1984 with the launch of the personal efficiency program. 'PEP' was a new approach to the age old problem of white-collar productivity and efficiency. PEP was originally developed for Svenska Handelsbanken, one of Sweden's largest banks. The "Do It Now" philosophy and practical, hands-on, follow-up methodology of PEP produced remarkable results at a very early stage. Its popularity enabled IBT to penetrate the corporate market in many countries.
Subsequently PEP modules have been created for senior executives, their assistants, specialist managers, for 'Cascade' use in Total Quality Management (TQM) organizations and for training the trainers.
The Personal Efficiency Program can now be delivered in 14 languages.
